OFC Women’s Champions League: Labasa well prepared to face Hekari United

The preparation and training for the team are going well as a plan is set for the OFC Women’s Champions League semi final, and they will do their best to make it to the finals.

These were the words of Labasa Women’s coach, Roneel Avnith Ram as they will face Hekari United this afternoon in the Solomon Islands.

Ram says mental preparation for a big tournament like OFC has been a major challenge for the team since playing at a platform like this is big for the players.

The coach says as a team, they are trying to overcome a few niggling injuries.

He further says if the girls make it to the finals it would mean the world to them and to the country which will inspire more girls and women to participate in football.

He is urging Fijians to support them.

Labasa Women’s will face Hekari United this hour.

In another semi-final, Auckland United will face Tafea.
