As Police continue its investigation into the death of a 66-year-old man after his body was found on Nasova Beach in Levuka on the 18th of last month, Assistant Commissioner of Police Crime, Mesake Waqa, says they are working on some issues based on the advice from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution.

Police are treating the death as a suspicious homicide following a post mortem.

ACP Waqa says they had sought clarification from the ODPP regarding a few issues pertaining to the investigation.

He says three people were initially questioned and released.

He had earlier confirmed a dedicated team from the Eastern Division is investigating the matter.
