Fiji Water Flying Fijians Coach Mick Byrne has met with 80 players in Europe who have confirmed their availability for the upcoming July test.

The Flying Fijians are scheduled to play Australia on July 6 in Newcastle before playing Scotland at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Byrne praises the players playing in the Southern and Northern hemisphere for availing themselves of the upcoming test matches.

He says he has spoken to Peceli Yato, Peter Gus and other senior players and is hoping they will be released by their clubs for the upcoming test matches.

He adds that he is working with the people on the ground regarding the performances of these 80 players in Europe and the players in the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition as there is a lot of rugby to be played.

The coach says he is happy with the depth of players he can choose from.
