No word yet from FRU on new Fiji men's 7s coach

The Fiji Rugby Union is yet to confirm when the new Fiji Airways men's 7s coach will be announced.

Fijivillage understands the FRU is still going through the selection process.

We have asked FRU CEO John O'Connor. He is yet to respond.

The application period for the new coach closed on the 13th of last month.

Gareth Baber's last official day with the FRU was last Thursday.

The FRU is looking for someone with a minimum World Rugby-certified Level 3 Coaching Certification and 3 years of coaching experience at top-level competition and coaching at the international level.

The Malaga 7s will be played in Spain from the 21st to the 23rd of next month.
