No one is above the law and the Ministry of Environment will make sure owners of the vessel that are causing oil spills at the Suva Harbour will be dealt with.

This was shared to fijivillage News by the Permanent Secretary of Environment Doctor Sivendra Michael.

He says he is aware of the threats George Goundar is making to the Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji and they are working towards dealing with the owners of the vessel.

He says he will issue a statement to support the MSAF position.

We have contacted Goundar Shipping and they have not replied to any of our questions.

Stay with us for developments.
