We all need to be careful with the conclusions we draw from circulating rumours

There is no new COVID-19 case in Denarau.

Permanent Secretary for Health Doctor James Fong has confirmed that a man in Denarau was handled as a suspected case yesterday however his test has come back negative.

Doctor Fong says precautionary measures were taken before the Health Ministry got the result.

He says members of the public need to know that this scenario will be part of our normal.

Doctor Fong says all suspect cases will be dealt with precautionary measures until proven negative.

The Acting Permanent Secretary for Health says we all need to be careful with the conclusions we draw from circulating rumours.
