SODELPA General Secretary, Viliame Takayawa says he will not comment on statements made by former SODELPA Management Board Vice President, Anare Jale that SODELPA MP, Aseri Radrodro had tried to influence the management board many times for SODELPA to form a coalition with the FijiFirst after the 2022 general elections.

Takayawa says he will also not say anything on former SODELPA Management Board member, Tanya Waqanika posting about the Radrodros allegedly pushing for the SODELPA management board to agree that SODELPA should form government with the FijiFirst in December 2022.

He says these were confidential discussions and he wants to maintain the neutrality of the party.

Takayawa also says both Jale and Waqanika are former management board members.

Meanwhile the SODELPA Management Board will meet at 10 this morning.

Takayawa says there is no plan to overturn the coalition agreement in today’s meeting.
