No arrest yet in relation to the alleged murder of Year 9 student in Labasa

Police say no one has been arrested yet in relation to the the alleged murder of a Year 9 student at her home in Namara, Labasa last night.

Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the victim's landlord heard her scream for help and upon checking on her, discovered her lying near the front door with visible stab wounds.

She says the victim was home alone as her mother was yet to return from work.
