The Fijian Elections Office has confirmed that the FEO Results Mobile App will not be used in the next general elections while the results system and the National Register of Voters will be audited.
This has been confirmed by the Supervisor of Elections and Secretary to the Electoral Commission Ana Mataiciwa while responding to questions by Parliamentary Standing Committee on Justice, Law and Human Rights member and Opposition MP Sachida Nand.
She says they are also in the process of identifying someone to conduct the external audit.
Further questions have been asked on why the app will not used.
