Villagers of Naqalotu in the District of Yawe in Kadavu will now have access to clean and safe drinking water after their village water project was commissioned earlier this week by the Minister for Rural and Maritime Development Sakiasi Ditoka.

While commissioning the project, Ditoka says every Government's responsibility is to serve its people.

Ditoka says the Ministry of Rural and Maritime Development understands the challenges faced by the 14 provinces in Fiji and hopes to assist every Fijian the best way they can.

During his tour to Kadavu, the Minister also commissioned a Solar Unit project at Nabukelevu District School.

Ditoka says one of the main aims of the current Government is to develop every village and be a new source of light for every Fijian.
