People should expect a lot of fireworks from the local 7s teams set to make their debut in the 49th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament this weekend.

Marist 7s Organizing Committee Chairman Lawrence Tikaram told fijivillage News that it’s exciting to see teams like Plantation Island Resort, VBM Dayals Black Heron, Ravoravo 7s-Sabeto, and Serua Cagivou 7s participating in these three-day tournament.

He says all these teams are aiming to cause upsets, and as tournament organizers, they will ensure that every team is treated equally.

He adds that rugby fans are in for an electrifying three-day spectacle at HFC Bank Stadium, featuring over 95 teams and more than 1,500 players competing. With tickets priced at just $22 online, it’s an unmissable opportunity to witness the sport’s rising stars in action.

The Marist 7s kicks off this Thursday and runs until Saturday at HFC Bank Stadium, Suva.
