Good news for the people of Kawakawavesi, Solove, Navidamu, Nakolou, Navudi and Raviravi in Seaqaqa as they no longer have to travel to Seaqaqa Town or Labasa Town to do their shopping and fill fuel, as a new service station and general grocery store worth $70,000 has opened in Kawakawavesi, Seaqaqa.

The Director of Nazia Service Station, Shaan Ali says he decided to build the service station and grocery store to help people in the area as some had to travel for almost an hour to reach Seaqaqa Town.

He says now people won’t have to travel so far and they will also be able to save on travel costs.

Ali says he has employed four people in his store.
