New Super 7s Series dates confirmed by FRU

The Fiji Rugby Union has confirmed the new dates for the 2022 Fun Flavor Fiji Rugby Super 7s Series competition.

The first leg will be held from next Thursday to Saturday at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka, the second leg will be held from the 17th to the 19th of next month at Prince Charles Park in Nadi and the third leg will be held from the 10th to the 12th of March at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

FRU Chief Executive Officer John O’Connor says the first three legs will assist the Fiji Airways Men’s and Fijiana 7s teams prepare for the next leg of the World Rugby 7s Series in Singapore for the Men’s and Langford for the Women’s.

He says the fourth and fifth leg will be held before the Commonwealth Games in July.
