New $2 million Stop & Shop Supermarket in Koronivia creates jobs for 32 people

32 people in Koronivia now have a job following the opening of the Stop & Shop Supermarket at Hexagon Plaza in Koronivia, Nausori today.

The Koronivia area is abuzz as people have been converging to look at the new supermarket that has wide aisles and offers an open environment.

Manager Willy Prasad says owners, Abhyas Chand and Nitesh Lal have invested over $2 million.

He says this supermarket gives the people of Nausori a great opportunity as all staff employed are from the nearby areas.

Prasad says it also offers a new, healthy shopping environment and a large car-park.

He adds they are here to stay and plan to open more supermarkets in the next two years.
