Fiji Netball Men’s Head Coach Jioweli Vakamoce will oversee the Fiji Pearls as the Netball Fiji gets underway with their recruit process to select a new Fiji Pearls Head Coach to lead the team for the next 3 years.

Vakamoce will also continue overseeing the Fiji Men’s Netball team as they prepare for the upcoming PacAusSports Series in Brisbane next month.

Netball Fiji President RubyAnn Sorovaki says the decision to re-advertise the post reflects Netball Fiji’s commitment to finding the ideal candidate to lead the national team over the next three years, ensuring they achieve the desired results in line with Netball Fiji’s Strategic Plan.

She emphasizes that the Head Coach plays a pivotal role not only in enhancing the performance of the Pearls but also in fostering talent and creating clear pathways for players and coaches in the high-performance arena.

The Netball Fiji President says they will explore all available avenues to recruit the most suitable candidate for this crucial role.
