Netball Australia and the netball world are mourning the loss of one of its brightest stars, Unaisi Rokoura.
Rokoura was a former player and captain of the Fiji Pearls, and later the Head Coach of both the Pearls and PNG Pepes.
Netball Australia says Rokoura’s life was defined by her passion, leadership and dedication to the game she loved.
They have extended their heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and the wider netball community.
They stressed that her contributions will never be forgotten, and her memory will continue to inspire generations of players and coaches.
The 47-year-old went missing on Saturday while gathering fresh water mussels near Navuso Agriculture School in Naitasiri.
