Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s

It will be a battle of the force in the final of the 37th Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s as Army Green will take on Freshe’t Navy this afternoon.

Army shrugged off a strong challenge from an unknown Kesenavunivalu side to win 17-12 in the first semi final.

Army had the services of experienced Inia Tawalo and former Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s rep Rokoua Rasaku.

In the second semi final, Navy beat a strong Lavidi Brothers side 19-10.

Navy had the services of former Kaiviti Silktails outside back Osea Natoga while former Fiji 7s captain Tavita Daugunu and Tira Wilagi lined up for the Lavidi Brothers.

Meanwhile, Seahawks will meet Ezers women’s rugby team in the final of the women’s division.

Seahawks defeated Lilian 22-17, and Ezer beat Tagimoucia 22-10.
