Navua have booked their spot in the semi final of the Extra Battle of the Giants in dramatic fashion, after Rewa sealed a 2-0 victory over Suva in their final Group B clash at Subrail Park this afternoon.
Rewa, who had already confirmed their semi final berth with back-to-back wins yesterday, proved too strong for Suva—who needed to win by at least four goals to advance.
The result dashed Suva’s hopes and sent Navua through with four points from the group stage.
Labasa has also secured a place in the semi final, while the final spot will be decided after the much-anticipated clash between Labasa and defending champions Lautoka, which is currently underway.
Lautoka only need a draw to keep their title defence alive.
They are currently tied nil all.
