Navua has shocked Suva with a commanding 3-0 victory in their Extra Battle of the Giants clash at Subrail Park this afternoon.

Solomon Islands import Ali Mekawir lit up the field with two stunning goals, while Rahul Krishna sealed the win late in the second half.

Displaying a completely revitalised style of play, Navua looked sharp, connected and confident — with crisp passes and relentless pressure that kept Suva on the back foot throughout the match.

Coach Babs Khan is keeping his strategy under wraps but says they will now return to camp to review their performance from the first two matches.

Meanwhile, the match between Rewa and Nadi is underway.

In other matches today, Ba is set to take on defending champions Lautoka at 3pm, while host Labasa faces Nadroga at 5pm.
