Villagers from Navitilevu in Navosa say they have been calling for assistance for many years as they need water tanks as a back up to their water sources.

Their main source is a nearby river and they face great difficulties during the prolonged dry season.

The village spokesperson, Ponipate Sigatabu says this issue has been raised in many district meetings by the former village spokesperson, yet nothing has been done.

Sigatabu says requests have been made to the government for many years. fijivillage News has questioned the Water Authority of Fiji about this issue.

They say teams have been allocated to visit Navitilevu Village.

WAF will confirm the numbers and they will organize a water tank to be delivered.
