The Fiji Roads Authority is advising members of the public and all road users that the Nausori bound lanes along Narere Stage 1 will be closed from 1pm to 5pm to allow road repair works today.

The FRA says parts of the road in that area have been damaged and time is needed to conduct their work to repair the damaged parts of the road.

They have received complaints from the public, but they need to get their job done in daylight as there are risks of damaging water pipes underneath the road.

During this time, the Nausori bound traffic will be diverted onto the Suva bound lane, with one lane operational simultaneously.

The FRA advises road users that a traffic management plan will be in place to guide road users and travellers along the area are advised to expect delays and to take this notice into account while finalising their travel.
