Nausori Town Council CEO, Anurashika Bari says they are facing challenges with finances and are relying on private public partnership to carry out major repair works at Ratu Cakobau Park.

Bari says the cost is over $150,000 and they have called for a tender for the naming rights of Ratu Cakobau Park.

Both pavilions suffered damages during TC Ana.

Bari says there is also a possibility that they may only repair one pavilion based on the finances that they will receive through private partnership.

When questioned, Bari did reveal they liaised with the Ministry of Local Government regarding repair works however finance remains a major issue.
