Nausori Market will open today - Patel

Nausori Town Council's Special Administrator, Uma Kant Patel says the Ministry of Health has given them the green light to open Nausori Market today.

Patel says 340 people which includes vendors and market staff have been swabbed for COVID-19 and officials from the Ministry of Health are now disinfecting the market.

He says the health staff has told them that none of the people tested today showed any symptoms of the virus however they are awaiting results.

Patel told fijivillage this morning that one of the vendors was identified as a suspected case of COVID-19.
