Dreams have come true for 21-year-old Mosese Naura after being selected by the Fiji Airways Men's National 7s coach, Osea Kolinisau to join the 13-member side for the Vancouver 7s next week.

Naura who hails from Navatusila in Navosa, joined the national extended squad after a standout performance with the Seattle Barbarians at the Coral Coast 7s a month ago as he outpaced Fijian Drua winger Taniela Rakuro.

Kolinisau has also recalled former captain Jeremaia Matana and Waisea Nacuqu in his 13-member squad, with Suliano Volivoli missing out on this tour.

The national side left early this morning for Vancouver.

The final 13-member squad include Joji Nasova, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Vuiviyawa Naduvalo, Terio Veilawa, Joseva Talacolo, Ratu Filipe Sauturaga, George Bose, Ilikimi Torosi, Sakiusa Siqila and Tira Wilagi.

The Vancouver 7s will be held from Saturday to Monday 24th of this month.

Fiji will take on Uruguay at 7.18am next Saturday for their first pool match; they will then take on the USA at 12.45pm on the same day before playing Spain at 6.52am next Sunday in their last pool match.

The men’s cup quarter-final will kick off at 12.51pm next Sunday, the cup semi-finals will begin at 8.30am Monday, 24th February, and the Cup Final will kick off at 1.05pm.
