Village Headman, Savenaca Delai has raised concerns about young people drinking and using drugs along Naselai Beach after returning from nightclubs on Sundays.

While speaking to fijivillage News, Delai highlighted the need for police officers to monitor the issue.

Delai says villagers are prohibited from drinking alcohol in the Naselai area, and anyone found drinking or using drugs will be reported to the authorities.

He adds that these are the future leaders of the nation, and small and simple choices can lead to big things in life.

Police say the Divisional Police Commander East has been alerted to the concerns, and they will be looking into the matter.
