Shivika Narayan has fulfilled her late father’s dream after graduating as a nurse from the Sangam Institute Of Technology College Of Nursing and Health Care Education in Labasa today.
While speaking to fijivillage News, Narayan says she is proud but also sad as she lost her father earlier this year.
She says she had to face a lot of challenges including financial issues as her mother is the sole breadwinner while she also had to rent while completing her education.
Narayan has dedicated her achievement to her father as it was his dream, and her mother and other family members who helped her along the way.
82 students graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing degree, 12 students graduated with a Post Graduate Diploma in Midwifery and 30 students graduated with a Post Graduate Diploma in Nursing Leadership and Management from the Sangam Institute Of Technology College Of Nursing as Health Care Education.
