The Nanuku Auberge Resort 7s team will be hoping for a memorable outing as they get ready to play in their very first Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.

Team Manager Meri Rosie says they have taken part in other 7s tournaments around the country but this is their first outing at the Marist 7s.

Rosie says the team consists of resort staff, former staff and members of the nearby communities.

She adds that they only have one player in the team that has played in previous Marist 7s tournaments.

Rosie says the team has been in camp for the past two weeks.

The tournament will kick off with the under 21 and women’s competition tomorrow.

The pool games for the men's competition starts on Friday and it will end with round one of elimination.

The main cup elimination and finals are on Saturday.

There will be three finals in a row on Saturday including the final for the under 21, women’s and main cup.

Tickets are on sale at the Fiji Sports Council.

Ticket prices are $5 flat for day one, Friday is $7 flat and Saturday is $7 for ground and $20 for the grandstand.
