Namosi has retained the Farebrother Sullivan Trophy after beating Naitasiri 17-15 in a thriller at Thompson Park.

Naitasiri opened the scoring with a try to Seremaia Naureure just six minutes into first-half and it was converted by Kini Douglas.

Namosi replied with a try from Jone Naqiri and they scored again minutes before half-time through Atu Maiono to lead to 12-7 at the break.

Naitasiri came back firing in the second half, converting a penalty and then a try from wing Seveci Nakailagi putting them in a 15-12 lead.

Namosi’s impact player Alipate Waidilo’s try in the corner was enough to give Namosi the narrow 17-15 win.

In other results, Nadroga defeated Tailevu 33-3 at Ratu Cakobau Park, Lautoka beat Yasawa 14-12, while Suva beat Nadi 20-15.
