Namosi Secondary win all 1,500m finals to lead the boys and girls divisions in Suva Zone 1

Namosi Secondary School have made a clean sweep in the 1,500 metres of the Coca Cola Suva Zone 1, and now lead both the boys and girls divisions.

In the boys division, Namosi are leading with 4 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze, MGM High School are second with 1 silver while Nasinu Secondary School are third with 1 bronze.

Ioane Viani won gold in the Senior Boys, Marika Waqanibau won gold in the Intermediate Boys, Sitiveni Patrick came first in the Junior Boys while Iosefo Tuvere won the Sub-Junior Boys.

In the girls division, Namosi are leading with 4 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze.

Salome Vakatawabai won gold in the Senior Girls, Ana Nairabelevu won gold in the Intermediate Girls, Talica Nataro came first in the Junior Girls while Marisela Kalokalosere won the Sub-Junior Girls.

MGM High School are second with 2 silver medals and Nakasi High School are third with 1 silver.

Suva Zone 1 will continue at the ANZ Stadium tomorrow.
