Widely regarded as the best striker in the country, Lautoka‘s Sairusi Nalaubu is once again aiming to win the golden boot award as the Digicel Premier League kicks off from tomorrow.

Nalaubu scored 9 goals in the league last season and has finished the top goal scorer for the past two years.

He was also part of the Suva side that won the league in 2020.

Speaking to Legend FM News, Nalaubu says their aim is to retain the league title but admits former side Suva will be a tough opponent in the opening round.

The 25 year old says hard work and dedication is the key to his goal scoring form.

Lautoka will take on Suva in their first match of Digicel Premier League at 4.30pm tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium.

In other matches at the ANZ Stadium tomorrow, Labasa will play Nasinu at 12pm while Rewa takes on Ba at 2pm.

Nadi will take on Tailevu Naitasiri at 1pm at Prince Charles Park tomorrow while Navua hosts Nadroga at the Uprising Sports Centre at 3pm.
