A mother of five of Dilo Street, Nakasi says she still has no idea as to what happened to her husband, Steven Sachin Singh whose body was found floating near Toga Bridge in Nausori at 5am last Wednesday.

Priya Devi Prasad has told fijivillage that Singh had breakfast with the family members last Tuesday morning and then left home saying he will be back.

Singh was a mechanic and according to Prasad, his garage was near their home.

Prasad says Singh had lost his phone three days earlier when some youths had robbed him at a shortcut road near their area.

She adds her husband had a new phone and hardly anyone had his new phone number.

Prasad says she is also certain that her husband did not go to fix any mechanical fault as he did not take any of his tools.

Meanwhile, Police are yet to classify the case.

The post mortem has been conducted however details regarding the cause of death have not been revealed.

It is believed there were visible injuries on Singh’s body.
