Nagauna wins first gold for Nasikawa Vision College

Lanieta Nagauna has won the first gold medal for Nasikawa Vision College after a throw of 10.93 metres in the intermediate girls shot put event

Lanieta Nagauna has won the first gold medal for Nasikawa Vision College after a throw of 10.93 metres in the intermediate girls shot put event at the 2023 Coca-Cola Games.

Nagauna says she won bronze last year and they have been training since December last year.

She has dedicated the win to her parents, grandparents, friends and coaches.

Fifita Uluilakepa from Saint Joseph’s Secondary School won silver after a throw of 10.32 metres while Adi Lewavou has won bronze for Natabua High School after throwing a distance of 10.06 metres.
