Nagasau wins 1 gold and 3 silver medals in Special Olympics

Miliana Nagasau has 1 gold and 3 silver medals in powerlifting at the Special Olympics Games in Berlin, Germany.

Nagasau won a gold medal in bench press, and a silver each in dead-lift, squat and the overall category.

Iowane Taroko and Karalaini Cakautabu have won bronze in the Swimming 50-metres Freestyle Level A.

Other athletes competing tomorrow include Maria Teresia and Samu Vuetasau in Badminton Singles, Maciu Small and Raijeli Naikaukaucagi in 100 metres, Ponijese Duncan and Siteri Daulali in Table Tennis Mixed Doubles.

Special Olympics Fiji has thanked Fiji government, sponsors, Fiji National Sports Commission, Digicel Fiji, and Professional Real State for their support and much-needed assistance.
