New Zealand Prime Minister Chris Luxon visited Tower Insurance Suva office Hub which was opened earlier this year in a bid to improve trade and economic opportunities.

Tower Insurance says a team of 300 staff, now based in Suva and representing all core business functions hosted the Prime Minister of New Zealand.

Tower also marked their 150 years of operation in Fiji.

They say the tour concluded with a farewell song Isa Isa Vulagi Lasa Dina, sung by the Tower choir.

Tower Chief Executive Blair Turnbull says the insurer’s Fiji staff were proud to host the Prime Minister for New Zealand alongside other dignitaries including the New Zealand High Commissioner to Fiji, Charlotte Darlow, and New Zealand’s Trade Commissioner, Pacific David Dewar.

Turnbull says they were pleased to demonstrate that doing business in Fiji makes good business sense.

He says Tower is committed to creating value for Fijian and other Pacific communities via employment opportunities and by bolstering economic and personal resilience by offering affordable and accessible insurance services.
