NDMO confirms two more fatalities due to TC Yasa bringing the total to 4

The National Disaster Management Office has confirmed two more fatalities because of Tropical Cyclone Yasa bringing the total to 4.

NDMO Director, Vasiti Soko says one man aged 50 years died in Ra while a 70 year old man passed away in Yadua, Bua.

Minister for Disaster Management, Inia Seruiratu had earlier said the man from Yadua was inside his home when the roof blew away and a timber fell and hit his head.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama had confirmed yesterday that Tropical Cyclone Yasa had claimed the life of a 3-month-old baby and a 45-year-old farmer near Labasa.
