The newly sworn-in lawyer Shamama Raqeeba Khan says her father's true principles of ethics and service to people have motivated her to become a Lawyer.

Khan who is the daughter of former Assistant Police Commissioner Abdul Khan says she has always seen her father doing things for the country and serving the people with honesty.

While dedicating her achievements to her parents Khan says one of the challenges faced during her law career was that she noticed that things in practical life is different from theory.

She further says after being admitted to the bar she wishes to uphold the law.

Proud Father Abdul Khan says there were a lot of struggles in bringing up their daughters as his dad was a fisherman and grew up very poor.

However, Khan says he always made sure that his children were well-educated and well-placed in society.

Khan advises all parents to support their children when they need them and to encourage them with what they want to be.

Spending 29 years of his life in the Police Force and with his experiences, Khan urges all younger generation to live with their ethics, principles, to be honest and loyal in whatever they do.
