Students of Muaniweni College in Naitasiri have been reminded that drugs and disobedience crush promise and extinguish hope.

Muaniweni College held their cadet pass out parade, where Acting Assistant Commissioner for Police Operations Kasiano Vusonilawe says he was honored to represent the Force in witnessing the remarkable parade.

He reminded the students of the dangers that would ruin their futures.

Vusonilawe says each act of obedience and self-discipline leads to pride, purpose, and a future overflowing with potential.

He says their choices today create the stepping stones for your tomorrow.

The Acting Assistant Commissioner also reminded parents and teachers to work together in uplifting the lives of the students.

He has urged parents to walk the path alongside their children.

Vusonilawe is encouraging all parents to engage earnestly in their children’s education, celebrate their victories, and uplift them through setbacks.

He has reminded them that behind every courageous cadet stands a village of champions.

The Acting Assistant Commissioner also urged the students to renew their commitment to discipline, obedience, and unity, which are the pillars upon the future of our nation rests.

The Best Male Cadet award was given to Sanaila Nawaqadau, the Best Female Cadet award went to Margaret Elizabeth Bounar, the Best Detachment award was presented to Nanise Rabuavati, the Best House in Drill award went to Yellow House (Sainimere Raiqumi), the Best Overall award went to Blue House (Vaulini Nailawe), and the Baton of Honour was awarded to Abdul Jamil Gani.
