The Muaniweni College U18 from Naitasiri have created an upset and accomplished its mission of beating Lelean Memorial School 10-0 in round 3 of the Weet-Bix Raluve Eastern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby competition held at the Sila School ground.

Discipline led Lelean to their defeat when Lusiana Turagaloa and Litia Rasuwaki of Muaniweni crossed the try line during the first spell after a yellow card was given to Rosemary T of Lelean for a high tackle.

The girls from Muaniweni managed to defend their 10-0 lead until the second half to secure their first win in the competition.

In other Raluve U18 results, Sila won by default against Dilkusha Methodist High School after they did not turn up with enough players.

The same thing happened in the U16 where Bau Central College also won by default as Nakasi High School did not have enough players.
