Maria Waqasaqa has been released on a non-cash bail of $1,000, needs to have 2 sureties, she has to appear in court on all occasions when the case is called, she cannot change her address without the court's permission and has to surrender her passport to the court.

Waqasaqa’s lawyer also requested for the case to be transferred to the Nasinu Magistrates Court.
