More people coming forth to assist the Adi Maopa Secondary School athletics team

SODELPA MP Salote Radrodro took some time out after their prayer meeting yesterday morning to visit the students

More people, organizations and families have shown their support to the students of Adi Maopa Secondary School who have been stuck in Viti Levu after participating in the Maritime Zone last month.

Best Promotions Limited donated chickens, toilet paper, bread and noodles while Hot Bread Kitchen has been delivering bread to them since the lockdown of Wainitarawau Settlement in Cunningham.

The McGoon Family from America donated $500 to the team, Yavusa Tonga from Bay Area in California and Aporosa Vulaca and family from Sacramento donated food to the group.

SODELPA MP Salote Radrodro took some time out after their prayer meeting yesterday morning to visit the students and took with her some supplies and some educational games.

The school management would like to thank the Nabua Secondary School Principal, the Principal of Basden College Mohammed Khan, and everyone who has come forward to assist them during their stay in Viti Levu.

The management would also like to thank the members of the Wainimako Church for allowing them to use the church hall as their accommodation during this time.

19 athletes of Adi Maopa Secondary School from Lau took part in the Maritime Zone at the ANZ Stadium.

The group is travelling with the School Principal, four teachers and two mothers who volunteered to cook for the team.
