Miss Hibiscus 2024 is bringing the thrill of Fijian culture to centrestage with the highly anticipated presentations.

The presentation show by the Queen contestants will be held on Wednesday September 4th at 6pm at the Suva Civic Centre.

This cultural extravaganza replaces the traditional Public Judging event promising to celebrate Fijian heritage and showcase the diverse beauty of the nation’s 14 provinces. Miss Hibiscus Pageant Director Andhy Blake says the presentation show will showcase their much loved Fijian culture.

The ten contestants vying for the Miss Hibiscus crown will be judged in three categories Sulu and Jaba, National Gift, and National Costume representing one of Fiji's provinces.

Blake says this event merges fashion with tradition as contestants don traditional costumes and present national gifts that reflect their chosen provinces.

Suva City Council’s Hibiscus Executive Committee Chairperson Opetaia Ravai says the presentation show spearheads the vision of spotlighting cultural attractions in Suva and Fiji.

Ravai says contestants will also deliver opening statements presenting their case for why they should be Fiji's Cultural Ambassador and the next Miss Hibiscus.

The 68th anniversary of the Miss Hibiscus Festival is supported by its Gold Partners, Vodafone Fiji and FMF Foods Limited, along with Silver Partners Communications Fiji Limited (CFL), Mai TV, Nanuku Resort, and Go Advertising.

Bronze Partners include Coca-Cola, Resonance, Fiji Arts Council, Suva Orchid and Horticulture Circle, and Ricoh.
