The Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation stands ready to support Women in Rugby as part of their main aim to empower women in any space, especially in a male-dominated profession such as Rugby.

This was highlighted by Minister Lynda Tabuya while presenting the Fijiana 7s players with their jerseys this morning.

Tabuya reminded the players they maybe away from the country but they are not alone as they have our support and wishes.

The Minister also says women need to support and empower each other.

The Fijiana 7s will leave for the Vancouver 7s at 3pm today.
