Govt drivers will be disciplined and surcharged

Following the accident that occurred earlier today at Laqere, it has been confirmed that the vehicles belong to the Ministry of Housing, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Police.

Permanent Secretary for Finance, Shiri Goundar says the respective ministries will investigate and advise the Ministry of Finance.

Goundar says they have issued reminders to all government drivers to adhere to the road rules and drivers will be disciplined and surcharged.
