The Ministry of Health is focusing on improving its infrastructure and the welfare of their staff.

This has been highlighted by Minister for Health, Dr Antonio Lalabalavu while visiting 3 facilities and a Health Centre in the interior of Naitasiri.

During his visit, the Minister was greeted by a traditional sevusevu from the villagers of Nasoqo and Naboubuca.

Dr Lalabalavu says through his visit, he managed to take his time to identify the challenges faced by the villagers while seeking medical attention and health care in general.

He says this is something his Ministry will look into to facilitate the challenges faced by the people living in the highlands.

He adds that it was an eye-opener for them and is looking forward to working with the people to solve their issues.

The Minister for Health acknowledges the hard work done by their staff and salutes them for looking after the Vanua and its people.

Dr Lalabalavu also sends his words of appreciation to the District Officer of Lomaivuna for guiding them and assisting them in their journey.
