Minister and Minister for Trade, Co-operatives, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Communications, Manoa Kamikamica

To encourage business minds at an early age, the Ministry for Trade is looking at different tools that can be used as part of the education curriculum.

While speaking on fijivillage Straight Talk with Vijay Narayan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Co-operatives, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Communications, Manoa Kamikamica says they are hoping to start this at the secondary school level to get that flavour of entrepreneurship at an early age.

Kamikamica says they had been looking around for some tools to use, and now they have stumbled on a few good options for consideration at schools.

He says they will also be discussing this initiative with the Education Ministry and are hopeful that it will be part of the education curriculum.

The Deputy Prime Minister says all this is part of creating an MSME ecosystem.
