Miley Cyrus' Flowers top the song for FM96

Miley Cyrus song Flowers is the number-one song on FM96 Big 96 countdown for 2023.

According to Luminae the song earned global recognition earning 1.16 billion streams worldwide, making it the most streamed song of the year on Spotify and Deezer and the second most-streamed on Apple Music.

The song Au taroga lo sung by Fiji’s local band, the Paradise Roots, which was the popular favorite for most people is on number 2.

FM96 Content Director Joana Ravono says the countdown songs were curated to help people dance into 2024.

She says there were also cash give aways for the night.

The FM96 countdown was sponsored by Vodafone and Home and Living.
