Mike Tyson promises to break bones in Roy Jones Jr exhibition bout

Mike Tyson promises to break bones in Roy Jones Jr exhibition bout

Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr.

Mike Tyson has promised to do real damage to Roy Jones Jr as the heavyweight legend continues to talk up their upcoming exhibition match.

The eight-round pay-per-view bout between the two 50-plus boxing icons is scheduled to take place in California on November 28 and will be shown exclusively on entertainment platform Triller.

With the contest billed as an exhibition, there were concerns that Tyson and Jones would just go through the motions when they got in the ring.

And that suspicion appeared to be confirmed by the California State Athletic Commission’s executive director Andy Foster, who told BoxingScene last month that the referee would step in if things heated up.

But judging by his comments on The Dan Patrick Show, Tyson, did not get the memo as he vowed to show his fellow veteran Jones Jr no mercy.
