The full field for the Melbourne Cup and barrier draw have been revealed.

Each year, the announcement of the Melbourne Cup field is one of the most eagerly anticipated moments in racing.

Defending champion Twilight Payment drew Barrier 2, while Caulfield Cup winner Incentivise will need to overcome a wide barrier after drawing Barrier 16.

10,000 people are expected to be in the stands this year.

The Melbourne Cup Race is expected to start at 4pm on Tuesday.
