If you are living in the Suva, Nausori and Tailevu-South area, please ensure that your child has received the measles shot as Minister for Health Doctor Ifereimi Waqainabete confirms that measles is predominantly found in the Central Division.
Dr Waqainabete says there were some cases in the Nasinu and Rewa subdivisions and their team has conducted supplementary immunisation in both these areas.
He adds surveillance is currently being done Fiji-wide.
The Minister is urging parents and guardians to ensure their children are protected from this deadly disease.
