McDonalds has seen slow but steady business as they welcomed their customers today after re-opening their doors for fully vaccinated people to enjoy their meals indoors.

Operations Manager Damon Gregg says they were excited to welcome some friendly faces inside the restaurant to sit down and dine in.

He says he is expecting the business to build and they are hoping to use all their available seats on Fiji Day weekend complying with the 70 percent capacity protocol.

He is advising people to carry their vaccination cards and says children will be allowed in the restaurant as long as they are accompanied by their parents who are fully vaccinated.

He says they have around 300 staff in total and McDonalds is proud that from the beginning of COVID-19 in March 2020, they have not laid off any staff due to a downturn in business.

He says this is also a good time to apply for a job at their company.
